About
I have studied at the University of Thessaloniki, Greece
(1983-1987, BA History and Archaeology,
1994, Ph.D. Prehistoric Archaeology)
I teach History and Ancient Greek Language at the Model Experimental High School of the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki Greece (since 2000) and Prehistoric Archaeology at the School for Tourist Guides (post-secondary vocational education) in Thessaloniki, Greece (since 1997). I have also gave a semester course of lectures about “Archaeology, museums and education” in the program for primary school teachers’ vocational enhancement of the Department of Primary Education of the University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece (2007-2008)
I am a trainer of teachers of secondary education in the utilization of Information and Communication Technologies in the educational and teaching process
I am a member of the scientific team of Dispilio Excavations (Neolithic lakeside settlement), Kastoria, Northern Greece (since 1992).
My research interests include archaeology in education, neolithic archaeology, prehistoric economy and social archaeology
